Linksys Phone Configuration Documents

Aptela does not provide service or support for Linksys phones.  

Attached are documents to assist with configuring your Linksys device. Prior to starting your configuration, log in to your Aptela Web account to write down your SIP Password.

  1. Log in to www.aptela.com/my-account as the account Operator
  2. Click on Settings in the navigation bar
  3. Click on About
  4. Write down the following items to use in your configuration:
  5. FTP User ID
  6. FTP Password
  7. SIP Password
  8. Log out and follow the insructions in the attached documents

After configuration, be sure to register each phone with the Aptela user using these steps:

  1. Log into the website at http://www.aptela.com/my-account/
    • Users:
      • Select Settings from the Navigation Bar
      • Click on My Account
    • Account Operators:
      • Select People from the Navigation Bar
      • Click the name for the user(s) you wish to make changes to
  2. Under "Edit Standard User" scroll to "VoIP Settings" and click on "Launch Phone Tool"
  3. A web browser will open to My Phone Configuration. Click on “Configure Phone”
  4. Enter the MAC Address of the phone for this user and hit Next
  5. Read the next page and click Close
