Why am I not receiving SMS notifications for voicemail or faxes?

Aptela users may be notified of soft faxes and voicemails to an email address or SMS. We have found that many carriers cannot deliver the notification via SMS if the "Include Content" box is checked.

Users have two options for receiving SMS notifications:

1) Receive Notifications Without Content:  Enter the SMS email address (ask your carrier for your SMS "email" address. Example: 7035551212@messaging.sprintpcs.com). Be sure that the 'Include Content" box is not checked. This user will be notified via SMS of new faxes or voicemails but must log into Aptela to view the attachment.

2) Receive Content via Email Only: Have your fax and voicemail notifications go to a standard email address with the "Include Content" box cheched. This user will be able to read faxes and listen to voicemails via their email application.
