Where Do I Find the FTP & SIP Password Information?

The account FTP & SIP Password information is used to program SIP phones to your Aptela account.  This information is particularly useful for customers who need to manually provision phones or are using phones not purchased through Aptela.  Depending on the product, you will either need the FTP information and/or SIP Password to configure the phone.

The FTP & SIP Password information can only be accessed by the Account Operator, and is the same for all users on the account.  For Account Operators who allow users to configure their own phones, be sure to provide the FTP & SIP password information to the user.
  1. Log in to the Aptela account as the Account Operator
  2. Select Settings from the Navigation Bar
  3. Click on the About tab
  4. You will find the account's FTP information (FTP User ID and FTP Password) and SIP Password
