Instant Messaging Currently Unavailable Error

If you receive the "Instant Messaging Currently Unavailable" Error, you may need to set up some firewall access rules. To do so, create a rule for 69.25.47.140 using port 5222 This allows computers on your network to communicate with the Aptela Instant Messaging server. This rule will be necessary with firewalls such as Sonicwall, Cisco Pix, Watchguard, among others. See your firewall manufacture's documentation for configuring access rules. |
