Browse Folders

Within the Messages view of your online account, the Browse Folders box delivers tools to view your call logs and, based on permissions, the call logs of your company and departments that you manage.

Personal/User/Department selection box
This drop-down menu provides a list of all the user folders you have permissions to see. This can include other users, departments that you are a member of, and the Account message folder.

The Operator can set preferences, per user, on which users have access to the Account folder. A useful scenario here is when the Account has a fax number. If you don't select to have fax notifications be sent to each user's email destination, users may need access to the Account folder to see incoming email.

The rights that a user has in other folders can vary. For example, department members who are not department managers can see that a message has a voicemail or recording, but cannot play it back.

Folder list
Based on the user selected in the above action, the list of folders available to that user or department will display. Example:  Inbound, Trash, Sent Items, Fax, and any personal folders that have been created.

Create a Folder

To create a folder for your own use to manage call logs, go to the Message Commands box (found above the Browse Folders box) and select New Folder.

Customers use this feature to store call history for specific contacts or customers.
