How to Prevent Users from Accessing the Company Call Record

With the Secure Message Log setting, the Account Operator can control whether or not Users can view the company call record via the pick list under the "Browse Folders" section on the user's Messages page.  This feature is useful for companies who prefer not to grant Users access to the company call record for confidentiality reasons, and can only be set by the Account Operator.

By default the feature is disabled, allowing users access to the company call records including  faxes (for accounts with fax numbers) and the call history for all incoming calls.
  1. Log in to the Aptela account as the Account Operator
  2. Click Settings on the Navigation Bar
  3. Under "Account Settings" section choose  Secure Message Log
  4. Select Yes to prevent users from access the company call record.  To disable choose 'No'.
  5. Click Save
