Why does my phone's message light blink when I do not have new voicemail messages?

The message waiting indicator (MWI) light on your Aptela purchased or auto-provisioned phone will blink when you receive new voicemail messages on your user extension.

Try our quick troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.
  1. Log into your user account at my.aptela.com.
  2. Make sure you don't have any new voicemail messages for your user extension:
    • Click on Messages at the top of the page.
    • Click on the Voicemail tab.
  3. If you do not have any new voicemail messages, unplug your phone for 10 second then plug it in again.

If problems persist, submit a ticket for Aptela support.
