Users can receive email notifications for faxes.  See the "definitions" section below to learn more about the notifications settings.  All standard users and departments have notifications included with the extension.  Please note that fax notifications can be setup and modified by the Account Operator only.

1. Log in to the Aptela account as the Operator
2. Select People from the Navigation Bar
3. Open the Operator/System Admin profile
   • If the user has a dedicated fax number, click the name for the user(s) you wish to make changes to
4. Scroll down to Notifications
5. Find Faxes and check the first two boxes (Enabled and Include Content)
6. Enter an email address in the Target Email Address field
   • Note: To have notifications sent to multiple email addresses, separate the email addresses with a comma
7. Click Save at the bottom of the page

• Only the Account Operator can setup or modify fax notification settings.
• If you have confidential faxes, we recommend that you assign a dedicated fax number mapped to a specific user. To request this, the Account Operator must submit a support request at location www.aptela.com/support.

• Enabled – Activates notifications for the selected message type(s)
• Include Content – Adds the message content to the email notification.
  
• Mark as Read – Marks the fax messages in your Aptela message window as read messages. This setting is recommended for users who use email to manage fax messages. 
• Target Email Address – Enter the email address where you want the messages to go.  Separate multiple email addresses with a comma.
