How to have your Recorded Calls Emailed to you

Users can receive email notifications for recorded call.  All standard users and departments have notification options included with the extension. Note: Call Recording is a purchased add on feature.

The Call Recordings notification type notifies you of new call recordings via email, and can deliver the audio of the recorded call as an email attachment.
  1. Log in to the Aptela account either as the User or as the Account Operator
    • Users:
      • Select Settings
      • Click on My Account
    • Account Operators: 
      • Select People from the Navigation Bar
      • Click the name for the user(s) you wish to make changes to
  2. Scroll down to Notifications section
  3. Next to Call Recordings, check the first two boxes (Enabled and Include Content)
  4. Enter the email address where the recording should be sent in the Target Email Address field.  Separate multiple email addresses with a comma.
  5. Click Save at the bottom of the page




Definitions for the Notification Settings
  • Enabled – Activates notifications for the selected message type(s)
  • Include Content – Adds the message content to the email notification.
  • Target Email Address – Enter the email address where you want the messages to go.  Separate multiple email addresses with a comma.
