Call Tree Templates

Call Tree templates are used when you want to erase your current call tree and build a new one from scratch.

Warning!
Clicking New Tree from Template and continuing through the dialog boxes will destroy your current Call Tree. It is not retrievable once it is deleted!

When you click New Tree from Template, you will be given choices to create the following types of trees:

  • Basic: This is the most common Call Tree template. It starts with a Greeting and allows you to add menu options such as “Press 1 for Sales, Press 2 for Customer Service, etc”.
  • Basic with Directories: This is the same as 'Basic' but with the addition of directories for Dial by Name and Dial by Extension pre-defined.
  • Greeting Only: Plays a greeting and then disconnects the caller.  This could be used for an Off Hours greeting when you wish to only state a message and not provide menu options.
  • Transfer Only: Plays a greeting and transfers the caller to an extension.
