About 2Wire Routers.

2Wire Routers for DSL are common among ATT DSL home users (especially in former SBC regions). These routers are not recommended for use with VoIP as they have a very limiting port forwarding and firewall profiles. If you have more than one IP phone, it may be very difficult if not possible to configure.

If you must use this device, work with your ISP to set it up in bridged mode so it is not manipulating or blocking traffic in any manner. Then purchase a Netgear ProSafe, Linksys WRT/BESFR, or similar business routers.
