SIP*
5060 through  + n (where n is the total number of users ever created by your account).

For example, if you have 20 or less employees,  you may want to open up 20 ports to provide room for growth and employee turnover, so in this case the range would be 5060 through 5080.

RTP*
10,000 through  + 100*n (where n is the total number of users ever by your account).

For example, if you have 20 or fewer employees,  you may want to open up 2000 ports to provide room for growth and employee turnover, so the range would be 10000 through 12000.

Traffic Type
SIP and RTP traffic both utilize UDP traffic.  If your firewall or router ask for traffic type, specify UDP or the rules will not be applied properly.

Firewall rules often require entering in trusted networks to send and receive traffic from. The Aptela network sends traffic on the following IP ranges:

69.25.47.129 through 69.25.47.158  (69.25.47.128/27)

74.217.82.1 through 74.217.82.254  (74.217.82.0/24)
