How to Enable Call Recording for My Account?

Call Recording is a premium feature with a monthly charge per user who has the feature activated.

Step 1: Confirm the feature is enabled for your account.

To confirm, log in to the application as the Operator and click on the Settings tab. The default view is the Preferences page. Look for the section named Other Settings. You should see an option called Edit Call Recording. If you do not see this item, the service is not activated for account. To turn this feature on for your company, complete this webform and submit it to Aptela billing.

Step 2:  Activate the feature and assign per user and/or department

Once you receive and email confirming that the feature is active for the account, the Operator must turn the feature on (or off) for each employee.

  1. Log in as the Operator to www.aptela.com/my-account
  2. Click on the Settings tab
  3. On the Preferences page under the section titled Other Settings, click on Edit Call Recording
    • This takes you to a page that lets you turn the feature on or off per employee
  4. Check the box for Call Recording Enabled
  5. By employee, select Per Call or Disable
  6. Click Save at the bottom of this page

Please remember that the monthly recurring charge for Call Recording is per employee.
