Using Trust for Voicemail (VM) Access

Trust for VM Access eliminates the requirement of entering your PIN when accessing the Aptela Voicemail System from your Find Me List (FML) entries and/or SIP (desk) phone.  Enabling FML entries for Trust for VM Acess is useful for on-the-go users who need to check voicemail from an entry in their FML (e.g. cell phone).

Notes
:
  • Your external phone number (e.g., cell phone) must be listed in only one FML entry. The feature may not work if it is listed in multiple FML entries.
  • If the specified phone does not pass caller ID information, this feature may not work.
  • The "Trust for VM Access" in the Find Me List applies to Find Me List entries only; it does not apply to your SIP phone (though the box can be checked).  See below instructions "Trust for VM Access for SIP Phones" to enable your SIP phone for this feature.
