Acrobits Softphone for iPhone

The Acrobits Softphone enables iPhone/iTouch/iPad users to make calls over the internet or via a WiFi hotspot rather than through their mobile carrier voice network.

Acrobits is currently available for download in the iTunes App Store.

Already downloaded and looking to get set up? Check out this tutorial video.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN...

When configuring any softphone, you will need the unique SIP Password for your account. Only the account administrator has access to the SIP password.

  1. Login to the Administrator Portal as the admin
  2. Click on the Settings tab
  3. Click on the "About" tab and scroll down until you see SIP password
  4. The SIP password is a combination of letters and numbers and is case sensitive
Hint: if you email the SIP password to yourself, open the email from your iPhone to copy/paste it into the Acrobits application

The username used for softphones is a combination of your username and client ID:  username.clientID

  • Username = the username that you use to log in to Aptela  (example: bsmith)
  • Client ID = the client ID that you use to log in to Aptela  (example:  acme21)
