My Eyebeam or X-Lite stopped working after phone upgrade

If your Eyebeam or X-Lite stopped working properly after an upgrade, please double check all settings.  Eyebeam and X-Lite phones commonly reset your settings after upgrades.  Not all of them, just certain ones in subtle ways that prevent the phone from working properly.

For example, a recent upgrade reset the "max time" in "Reregister Settings" under the Advance section causing the phone to lose connections every 60 seconds or so.  Reset the "max time" setting to 50, save and relaunch.
