Custom recordings may be requested for the Auto Attendant, Call Tree, Hold Messages, Voicemail Messages, and Custom Transfer Messages. You may choose between male and female to have your custom recordings recorded in the English and/or Spanish languages.

How to request custom recordings and associated fees

Simply download and complete the attached Custom Recordings Request Form. This form is used to capture your requirements. Upon completion, email the form to recordings@aptela.com. Prior to sending the form, please read through the “Important Notes” below.

Custom recording orders are billed at $40 per quarter hour or a fraction thereof. The time includes recording and editing. Most custom recording requests can be expected in 3 business days. Specialized requests (exceptionally complex IVR setups, for example) may require more time, generally no more than 6 business days.

Important Notes:
- Only the Account Operator is authorized to request account changes that impact services or fees
- Your script must be fully documented in the attached form in order to fulfill the request
- All custom recordings are licensed to Aptela clients; they are not the property of the client.
- Please note any instructions on pronunciation or inflection requests.
  - Be sure to note any number preferences (Is “102”, ‘one oh two’ or ‘one zero two’?)
  - Avoid abbreviations (Inc will be pronounced INK so if you want ‘incorporated’, be sure to spell it out)
  - Be as specific as possible. (In your website address, is “/” ‘slash’ or ‘forward slash’?)
  - For proper pronunciation, call 703.386.1500 x977 to leave a voicemail with the desired pronunciation. Please be sure to reference your Client ID, and include your name and contact information.
- Aptela will not post, format or re-format music or any audio not recorded by Aptela without accompanying rights documentation
