Why won't my headset work with my Aastra 6757i CT phone?

In order for your headset to work with your Aastra 6757i CT phone, you must program your phone for hands free calling. Before programming your phone, verify that the headset is properly connected to the headset jack on the back of the phone. To program your phone for hands free calling: 1. Press Options button on phone 2. Select Option 2 for Preferences 3. Select Option 5 for Set Audio 4. Select Option 1 for Audio Mode 5. Select “Speaker/Headset” option then Done 6. Press Goodbye key to exit or return to main screen
