Juggling Multiple Businesses? Try Using Inbound Caller ID
Aptela's VoIP phone system tries to provide features and functionality to customers while still maintaining simplicity. More and more of our customers are managing multiple businesses in one location. They have multiple phone numbers that call in to different Auto Attendants. Then, they try to have the same employee(s) handle sales and/or support for each entity.
When building your Attendant Menu, click on "Show Advanced Options". Our Inbound Caller ID options will pre-empt inbound calls to announce the name of the account (brand, promotion, company, etc) the caller is trying to reach. When your employee picks up the phone, this warning alerts them in advance so that they know how to answer the call. It's an easy and affordable solution to sharing resources across multiple business entities!
