Introducing Aptela v5.3: Offering the Ultimate Control to Manage Your Calls

This weekend, we launched Aptela v5.3, the latest release to our new calling platform. Aptela v5.3 includes significant enhancements to the way our customers can manage their business communications. The release also included infrastructure improvements to fix "bugs" and enhance platform stability.

A series of blog posts will highlight the major enhancements delivered through this release, including:

1. Improved Find Me List Management - You can now create and manage your Find Me List from the Options link in the Find Me List window on the User Dashboard. Check out the Knowledge Base article to learn how!
2. New! Follow Me Feature - Our new "Follow Me" feature allows you to temporarily overrides your Find Me List, redirecting all calls to a designated phone number or extension. Perfect for making a quick change to be reachable at one specific number (perfect for an unexpected snow day or when you have an offsite company meeting). The feature is accessible from the Find Me List window. Click here to learn more. 
3. New! Do Not Disturb Feature - This feature temporarily overrides your Find Me List, redirecting all calls to your "no answer destination." A great tool when you're home sick or away on vacation. Click here to learn more.
4. New! Smart Find Me List Feature - Granting the ultimate power over how calls reach you, create unique Find Me Lists for designated contacts, colleagues or department calls (many customers use this as a shortcut for their bosses, VIP customers or family members). Create Smart Find Me Lists from the Options link within the Find Me List window. Click here to learn more. 
5. Improved Phone Configuration - Managing phones from both the administrator and user portals has changed. In the admin portal, look for the new "edit phones" button to manage user extension settings. Visit our Knowledge Base for detailed instructions when adding or editing phones.
