All About Aptela v5.3: Part 1 - Introducing Follow Me!
Picture this - your flight was canceled and you're stuck at a hotel for yet another afternoon. Mobile coverage is lousy and you need to be accessible.
Or this - your town just received a foot of snow, you're stranded at home...but still need to conduct business. You don't have your home number in your Find Me List and don't want the hassle of adding it and forgetting to remove it later.
Introducing Follow Me - A new option that temporarily overrides your default Find Me List. It will forward all incoming calls to a phone number (or extension) until you disable the feature. Two clicks to enable the feature. One click to turn it off. It's fast, easy and oh-so powerful.
How to Use Follow Me
In your Use Dashboard, look for the Find Me List section. Click Options. Click Follow Me. Enter the number you wish to forward calls to. Or enter * plus an extension.
Click "Turn off Follow Me" to turn off the feature and return to your previous Find Me List functionality.
