Aptela is currently searching for a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer for a web based system.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Internal Tools Software Tester is responsible for working closely with the Internal Tools development team to develop requirements, test, deploy and monitor functionality for a suite of tools used by Sales and Support. This person will plan, write, execute and report tests to ensure that software is fit for purpose and meets its quality objectives.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• BS degree or equivalent experience
• At least 2 years of QA experience
• Development experience (Java would be a plus; also, J2EE, Ruby, and any web development helpful)
• Testing of web-based applications
• Linux knowledge helpful
• Database knowledge helpful
• Test automation experience helpful
