Aptela is currently searching for a Software Engineer for development of and enhancements to the back-end systems which make the company run.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for design, development, unit testing and deployment of multiple operational systems, including web interfaces, database design and access, business logic modules and bus messaging systems which tie everything together.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• 2+ years experience with J2EE Application Development
• Database and SQL skills
• Comfortable working in the Linux environment
• Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science Preferred)
Useful to have:
• Experience with JBOSS application server
• Experience with postgres, mysql, hibernate
• Experience with ActiveMQ or other message bus systems
• Web Application development – Both Server and Client side Web Applications, Spring
• Additional Languages – Ruby, Perl, PHP
