Aptela is currently searching for a Quality Assurance Engineer for a web based system.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Software Tester is responsible for planning, scripting, executing, and reporting of tests to ensure that software is fit for purpose and meets its quality objectives. The product consists of a front end web-based application and a backend Linux-based infrastructure. The primary activities for this position include creating and/or updating test plans, executing tests to qualify software for release, diagnosing problems and writing tickets, and writing test case scripts.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• BS degree or equivalent experience
• At least 2 years of QA experience
• Experience testing web-based applications
• Linux knowledge helpful
• Database knowledge helpful
• Test automation experience helpful
